Elyria Marriage License Office

The Lorain County Probate Court handles all marriage licenses for Elyria. Both people must show up in person with valid photo ID. The court is in Room 611 of the Lorain County Justice Center.

Ohio has no waiting period for marriage licenses under ORC Chapter 3101. You can marry the same day you pick up the license. It is valid for 60 days.
